Natural vs. Added Sugars: Do You Know the Difference?

In honor of National Nutrition Month this month, I wanted to tackle a nutrition topic that can often be confusing but that is very important--the difference between natural and added sugars. Some foods, like dairy products and fruits, contain naturally occuring sugars while other foods (many that you wouldn't even expect!) contain sugars that are added in the manufacturing process. Knowing the difference between these two types of sugars is an important way to follow the theme of National Nutrition Month, which is to "Put Your Best Fork Forward." So in this video, I explain the nutritional differences between these two types of sugars and show you how to spot added sugars in foods.
